Description
This ARRMA center brace bar spans 287mm to stiffen the chassis of the Mojave 4S platform. The center brace ties the front and rear structures together along the truck's spine, resisting the twisting loads that hard desert-truck landings feed through the long XXLWB chassis.
The bar spans its mounting points at a precise 287mm, maintaining factory spacing so the chassis stays square under power — a straight brace is a big part of why the truck tracks true at speed.
Braces also work sacrificially in big impacts, absorbing and spreading crash energy; a bent bar afterward is cheap insurance that did its job, and this replacement restores full stiffness in minutes.
