Description
The ARRMA ARA330794 Aluminum Shock Set is a genuine factory replacement shock assembly for the ARRMA Mojave 4S 4X4 BLX desert truck (ARA4404). This is the longer of the two Mojave 4S shock sets and mounts at the rear of the chassis, tying the rear suspension arms to the rear shock tower to control squat under power and soak up landings off jumps and rough terrain.
Each shock uses a 15mm bore aluminum body with a 143mm overall length. Aluminum bodies shed heat better than plastic during long runs and resist denting when the truck lands hard or takes a hit from debris, which helps the shock shaft and seals stay true and leak-free for longer. The set ships factory assembled and factory filled with 300cSt shock oil, so it is ready to install straight from the package with no bleeding or oil measuring required.
This set is a direct replacement for the rear shocks fitted to the Mojave 4S from the factory and installs in the stock mounting locations without modification. Because the rear shocks carry the drivetrain weight and take the brunt of hard landings, keeping a spare pair on hand is a practical way to avoid downtime after a bent shaft or a blown seal.
