Description
The ARRMA ARAC5043 Hub Rear BLX 4S is a genuine factory replacement rear hub carrier for ARRMA 4S BLX vehicles including the Mojave 4S, Kraton 4S, and Outcast 4S. It is also catalogued under ARRMA number AR330522.
The rear hub carrier holds the rear axle and wheel hex, locating the wheel at the correct position and angle relative to the suspension arm. Unlike the front knuckles, the rear hubs do not steer, so their job is purely to maintain fixed geometry under load. That geometry is what keeps the rear tires sitting flat on the ground and wearing evenly rather than scrubbing on one edge.
Because the hub sits at the outer end of the suspension, it takes direct impacts from curbs, rocks, and hard landings, and it carries the full cornering load through the wheel bearings it houses. A cracked or distorted rear hub allows the axle to run out of true, which shows up as unpredictable rear grip, accelerated bearing wear, and vibration at speed.
This is a direct replacement for the stock rear hub and installs in the standard location with no modification, working with the factory bearings, axles, and hardware.
