Description
The Kyosho UM702 Battery Holder Set is the genuine battery retention hardware for the Ultima RB6 and RT6, Kyosho's 1/10 scale 2WD racing platforms. These parts clamp the battery pack against the chassis so it cannot shift under acceleration, braking, or impact. On a 2WD buggy the battery is one of the heaviest single items on the car, so anything that lets it move changes weight distribution mid-corner and makes handling unpredictable in a way that is genuinely hard to diagnose from the driver's stand.
A secure holder also protects the pack itself, since a battery bouncing against chassis components can damage cells or pull on the solder joints at the leads. These install as direct replacements for the kit parts with no modification, using the original screws and posts. Package includes the complete battery holder set for one chassis. Worth replacing if yours is cracked or has been flexed enough that the pack no longer sits tight.
