Description
The Kyosho UM569 Steel Axle Shaft Set is a genuine pair of front axles for Kyosho's 1/10 scale 2WD racing buggy. These are steel axles with the wheel hex built directly into the shaft, which is a meaningful upgrade over a separate hex: fewer parts in the stack means less flex and no chance of a loose hex creeping on the axle. Steel construction handles the bending loads that front axles take from curb strikes and hard landings far better than lighter alternatives.
The built-in hex design also gives you a tuning option, since the axle position lets you adjust front track width to change steering feel and stability. These are standard equipment on the Ultima RB5 SP2 WC and install as a direct-fit option part across the RB5 and RB6 series, dropping into the stock front hubs with no modification. Package includes two axle shafts, a complete set for both front corners so the car stays symmetrical.
