Description
The Kyosho UM523 Motor Offset Spacer is a genuine option part for Kyosho's 1/10 scale 2WD Ultima platforms. This spacer repositions the motor in the chassis, shifting mass toward the centerline to improve left-to-right weight balance. On a 2WD buggy or truck, where the motor is one of the heaviest single components, moving it changes how the chassis rotates and how evenly the rear tires load through a corner, which is why the offset conversion became a popular setup change for racers chasing more consistent corner exit.
Kyosho lists this spacer for the Ultima RB5, RT5, and SC, and it carries through the RT6, RB6, and DB models built on the same transmission layout. Important fitment note: the offset spacer must be used together with Kyosho's matching main gear shaft, since the standard shaft will not position correctly with the motor relocated. The longer mounting screws needed for the conversion are supplied with the spacer, so the package covers what the swap requires.
