Description
The Kyosho UM125 Idler Gear Shaft is a genuine factory replacement for the transmission in Kyosho's 1/10 scale 2WD Ultima family. This small steel shaft supports the idler gear inside the gearbox, keeping the gear train aligned so power flows smoothly from the motor to the differential. Over time the shaft can wear or score from grit and hard running, which leads to gear noise and rough drivetrain feel, so swapping in a fresh shaft is a quick fix during a transmission rebuild.
This is a direct, drop-in replacement for the stock part with no modification required. It fits the Ultima RT5 and RT6 stadium trucks, the SC and SC-R short course trucks, the DB dirt buggy, and the RB5 and RB6 racing buggies that share the Ultima gearbox design. Package includes one idler gear shaft. Keep a spare in your pit box so a routine gearbox service never keeps your Ultima off the track.
