Help keep your high-powered Castle Creations motor running cooler with the PowerHobby Aluminum Dual High-Speed Motor Cooling System. Designed for large motors measuring approximately 55–58mm in diameter, this cooling system combines a durable aluminum motor mount with two powerful 40mm high-speed fans.

The dual-fan design directs increased airflow across the motor can to help remove heat during extended runs, hard acceleration, speed runs, aggressive bashing, and other demanding RC applications. Reducing excessive motor heat may help maintain more consistent performance and reduce the possibility of heat-related power loss or thermal shutdown.

Both cooling fans are protected by silver aluminum fan covers, helping shield the fan blades from debris and accidental contact. The included JST Y-splitter connects both fans to a single receiver-style plug, allowing the system to be powered through a compatible receiver channel, external BEC, or regulated power supply.

The silver aluminum construction provides a clean, professional appearance while adding a practical cooling upgrade to compatible 1/5-scale and large-format RC vehicles.

Fitment is determined primarily by the outside diameter of the motor and the available clearance inside the chassis. Before ordering, measure the motor can and confirm that your vehicle has enough room for the aluminum mount, dual 40mm fans, fan covers, wiring, and mounting hardware.

Installation Notes

Position the aluminum mount around a clean and unobstructed section of the motor can. Tighten the mounting hardware evenly and confirm that the assembly cannot rotate, slide, or contact nearby drivetrain components.

Route all wiring away from the motor shaft, pinion gear, spur gear, driveshafts, suspension components, and other moving parts. Secure loose wiring with cable ties or clips before operating the vehicle.

Connect the receiver-style plug to a compatible open receiver channel, external BEC, or regulated power supply providing between 6V and 8.4V. Verify connector polarity and available current before applying power. Do not connect the cooling fans directly to a power source exceeding 8.4V.
