Description
The Powerhobby Aluminum Motor Heatsink with Dual 40mm Cooling Fans is designed to help control motor temperatures in high-powered RC vehicles.
The aluminum motor clamp fits compatible motors measuring 47–49mm in diameter. Two high-speed 40mm fans provide increased airflow across the motor, while the aluminum fan covers help protect the fan blades from debris and accidental contact.
Operating from 6V to 8.4V, each fan can reach up to 16,000 RPM at 8.4V. The included JST Y-splitter with receiver-style connector allows both fans to be powered from an available receiver channel or compatible external BEC.

Verify the motor diameter, available chassis clearance, fan voltage, connector compatibility, and mounting position before purchasing.
Installation Note
Mount the heatsink securely around a clean section of the motor can. Make sure the fan covers and wiring do not contact the center driveshaft, motor shaft, pinion gear, spur gear, or other moving components.
Connect the fans only to a receiver port or external BEC capable of supplying between 6V and 8.4V with adequate current. Do not connect the fans directly to a battery exceeding the rated voltage.
Route and secure all wiring away from rotating drivetrain parts, sharp edges, and excessive heat.
