Description
The Powerhobby ESC Plate provides a strong and secure mounting solution for high-performance Traxxas X-Maxx power systems using a Castle Creations XLX2 or Hobbywing MAX5 ESC.
Its hybrid construction combines a lightweight carbon-fiber upper plate with a durable 7075 aluminum base. This rigid design helps reduce ESC movement and mounting-plate flex during hard bashing, high-speed driving, and other demanding RC applications.
The plate provides a clean alternative to mounting an ESC directly to the chassis with adhesive tape. Installation hardware is included for direct installation on the Traxxas X-Maxx. ESC is not included.

Verify your ESC model, chassis configuration, mounting-hole locations, and available clearance before installation. Compatibility may be affected by aftermarket chassis braces, receiver boxes, battery trays, motor mounts, or other electronics.
Installation Note
Disconnect the batteries before beginning installation. Secure the aluminum base and carbon-fiber plate using the included hardware, and make sure the ESC cannot contact the center driveshaft or other moving components.
Route the motor, battery, receiver, and switch wires away from sharp edges, rotating drivetrain parts, and areas exposed to excessive heat. Do not overtighten the mounting hardware against the carbon-fiber plate.
