Description
This is the front spring set for the Kyosho Mini Inferno ST.
Springs are the most fundamental suspension setting on any car. They carry the vehicle's weight and determine how far the chassis moves for a given force, which sets ride height, how much the car dives under braking and rolls in a corner, and how much travel is left before the suspension bottoms out.
They are also a wear item in a way people underestimate. A spring that has been repeatedly compressed to its limit takes a permanent set, losing free length and rate. When that happens the car sits lower than it should, runs out of travel sooner, and behaves differently side to side if one spring has sagged more than the other. Because the change is gradual, it is easy to miss and easy to misdiagnose as a damping problem.
These are the front springs specifically, and the rear position uses a different part number. Fitting a fresh set returns the car to its factory baseline, which is the right starting point before chasing any handling issue. Fitment covers the Mini Inferno ST and Mini Inferno ST 09.
