Description
This is a genuine Losi aluminum chassis plate designed for the 8IGHT RTR, a 1/8 scale buggy. The chassis serves as the main structural platform of the vehicle, tying together the suspension mounts, drivetrain components, and radio gear while providing the rigidity needed to handle high-speed off-road driving and hard landings. Replacing a bent, cracked, or twisted chassis restores proper alignment across the whole car, since a warped chassis plate can throw off suspension geometry and gear mesh even when every other part is in good condition. Because this plate is manufactured to Losi's original 8IGHT RTR specifications, all mounting holes and cutouts line up directly with the stock suspension arms, bulkheads, and electronics without modification. This is a direct factory replacement rather than a performance upgrade, making it the correct part for repairing crash damage or restoring a chassis that has flexed or cracked from repeated hard use. Aluminum construction gives the chassis the strength and stiffness needed to resist bending under load while keeping the car's overall weight reasonable for a competitive 1/8 scale buggy.
