The Losi TLR74004 is a 2oz bottle of rear silicone shock oil rated at 25 weight, formulated for the 8IGHT 3.0, 2.0, T, E, 810, and TEN-T. This oil is specified for the rear shocks, since front and rear damping often benefit from slightly different setups depending on your car's weight distribution and how you want it to handle under acceleration versus braking.
Using a rear-specific oil weight lets you independently fine-tune how the back of your car responds to bumps and weight transfer, which is especially useful on 4WD platforms where front and rear grip characteristics can differ. Shock oil is a foundational tuning tool, and refreshing it during a rebuild restores consistent damping after oil characteristics naturally shift from heat and use over time.
