Description
The Traxxas 9378-WHT is a pair of sticky 1.9" Response rear tires, pre-mounted and glued to 6-spoke extra-wide rear wheels.
Response tires provide razor-sharp handling and superior grip on pavement through an aggressive tread pattern and high-grip rubber compound. These are grip tires rather than drift tires, so they belong on a 4-Tec being driven for outright speed on tarmac.
The extra-wide rear wheel is the key difference from the front set. A wider rear contact patch puts more of the motor's output onto the road instead of into wheelspin, and steadies the back of the car under acceleration and braking. Front and rear are not interchangeable as a result.
They are VXL-rated for high-speed applications, which matters if you are running brushless power. Tires not built for those speeds fail under the centrifugal loads a VXL system generates.
Supplied pre-mounted and glued, so no tire mounting is needed. The matching front set is listed under 9377-WHT, and a complete set of four requires both part numbers.
