Description
The Traxxas 9374R is a pair of sticky 2.0" Response front tires with the Traxxas logo, pre-mounted and glued to multi-spoke front wheels.
Response tires provide razor-sharp handling and superior grip on pavement through a slick tread design and high-grip rubber compound. The slick front tread is a deliberate choice for on-road running: minimal tread pattern means maximum rubber in contact with the surface, which is what generates front-end bite and precise turn-in.
These are VXL-rated for high-speed applications. That rating matters and should not be ignored. A brushless VXL system generates speeds and centrifugal loads that will destroy a tire not built for it, and a tire failure at those speeds destroys more than the tire.
They arrive pre-mounted and glued, so there is no tire mounting to do. Hand-gluing is slow, messy work and a poor glue joint lets the tire unseat from the rim under cornering load, which is exactly when you least want it.
Front fitment specifically. Traxxas lists the matching extra-wide rear set under 9375R, so a full set of four requires both part numbers.
