Description
These are Traxxas molded composite toe links, supplied as a pair and measuring 78mm center to center. They come assembled with hollow balls and install directly with no threading, measuring, or adjustment needed.
The toe link controls the steering angle of the front wheel and is one of the first things to take damage in a head-on hit or a curb strike. When a toe link bends or snaps, the affected wheel loses its steering reference and the truck immediately pulls to one side. Because these links are molded to a fixed length rather than adjustable, they restore the factory toe setting exactly each time, which removes the guesswork of dialing an adjustable turnbuckle back in after a repair.
Composite construction is deliberate here. The material flexes and absorbs impact instead of transferring the load into the steering blocks and bellcranks, and unlike an aluminum turnbuckle it will not bend and stay bent, quietly holding the truck out of alignment.
These are designed for use with the #9180 and #9181 Extreme Heavy Duty upgrade kits. Package includes two assembled toe links with hollow balls.
