Description
This is the Traxxas Extreme Heavy Duty Outer Driveline and Suspension Upgrade Kit, a complete package that replaces the outer suspension and driveline components on the Rustler 2WD or Stampede 2WD with reinforced Extreme Heavy Duty parts.
The outer corners of a 2WD stadium truck take the most abuse in a crash. Caster blocks, steering blocks, stub axle carriers, and the pins that hold them together are the parts that break first on a hard landing or a curb hit. This kit addresses all of those areas at once instead of one part at a time, converting the truck to the heavier Extreme Heavy Duty geometry throughout the front and rear corners.
Components in this system are thicker through the hinge pin bores and kingpin areas where standard parts split, and the kit includes the matching Extreme Heavy Duty suspension pin set sized for the reinforced parts. Related components including caster blocks (#9136), steering blocks (#9137), rear stub axle carriers (#9150), camber links (#9194 and #9195), and toe links (#9196) are available separately as replacements once the kit is installed.
This is an upgrade over the stock suspension, not a like-for-like stock replacement. Fits Rustler 2WD and Stampede 2WD.
