Description
The Traxxas 9136X is a left and right pair of Extreme Heavy-Duty caster blocks, beefed up with extra material for even more strength. Built to take a pounding, they are standard replacements for 9180 and 9181-series 2WD Extreme Heavy-Duty Upgrade Kits.
Caster blocks carry the front suspension arms and the steering geometry, which puts them directly in the load path of every impact the front end takes. On a 2WD truck that means every nose-in landing and every hit against a kerb or berm. The extra material in the EHD design is placed where the stock part fails, so the upgrade addresses the actual failure point rather than adding weight indiscriminately.
Compatibility is broader than the upgrade kits alone. EHD caster blocks also work with non-EHD parts and with Traxxas aluminium accessories, so they can be fitted to a standard vehicle as a targeted strength upgrade without committing to the full kit.
The package includes 3x26 mm hinge pins (2) and 3x15 mm screws (2), so the hardware needed for installation is supplied. Both left and right blocks are included. Genuine Traxxas part.
