Traxxas 9063-ORNG Orange Aluminum Caster Blocks

Important fitment note: these are designed for 4X4 vehicles with the Extreme HD Upgrade Kit (9080) installed. They do not fit standard suspension components. Check that your vehicle has the 9080-series kit before ordering.

The Traxxas 9063-ORNG is a pair of left and right aluminum caster blocks that improve the appearance, ruggedness, and control of your Traxxas model. Billet 6061-T6 aluminum construction adds strength and precision where you want it most, and the brilliantly anodized finish features a high-contrast laser-etched TRX logo.

Caster blocks carry the front suspension arms and set the caster angle, which puts them directly in the load path of every front-end impact. On a 4X4 running Extreme HD components the rest of the front end has already been strengthened, so the caster blocks become the next limiting factor.

Billet aluminum resists the flex composite develops under cornering and impact loading. That rigidity keeps caster and steering geometry where they were set rather than shifting under load, which is what makes a vehicle respond consistently rather than feeling different depending on how hard it is being driven.

Machining from solid stock also produces tighter pivot tolerances than moulded parts achieve, reducing the slop that accumulates in a front end over time.
