Description
This is the genuine Traxxas Extreme Heavy Duty 6mm front stub axle for the Rustler 4X4, made for use with the #9051R steel constant-velocity driveshafts.
Front stub axles work harder than rears on a 4WD truck: they carry drive torque and steering loads at the same time, flexing through every full-lock launch. The Extreme Heavy Duty version uses a 6mm diameter shaft that shrugs off the bending loads that put a set in smaller axles.
This is the correct front replacement for a truck running the steel CV driveshaft setup, and the part to stock before race day rather than after a bent axle ends it.
