Description
This is the genuine Traxxas Extreme Heavy Duty 6mm rear stub axle for the Rustler 4X4, made for use with the #9052R steel constant-velocity driveshafts.
The stub axle is the shaft the rear wheel actually rides on, carrying the wheel hex and transferring drive torque from the CV joint to the tire. The Extreme Heavy Duty version steps up to a 6mm diameter, resisting the bending and shearing loads that fold smaller axles in hard landings and traction-loaded launches.
This is the correct replacement rear stub axle for a truck running the steel CV driveshaft setup — keep one in the parts box and a bent axle becomes a five-minute fix instead of a lost day.
