Traxxas 9032X Blue Extreme Heavy-Duty Caster Blocks

The Traxxas 9032X is a pair of replacement left and right caster blocks for the Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit, supplied with 3x32 hinge pins (2) and 3x20 screws (2).

These are the composite replacement blocks rather than an upgrade part. If you run the 9080 kit and have broken a caster block, this is the direct replacement at a fraction of the cost of the aluminum alternative. Traxxas also offers machined aluminum caster blocks for the same kit under the 9063 series at around six times the price, so the choice comes down to whether you want a like-for-like repair or a strength upgrade.

Caster blocks carry the front suspension arms and set caster angle, which puts them directly in the load path of every front-end impact. Within the Extreme HD system they are designed as the sacrificial element: a broken caster block has absorbed energy that would otherwise have reached the bulkhead or chassis.

That makes them a genuine consumable worth keeping on the shelf, particularly since the hinge pins and screws are included so a repair needs nothing else.
