The Traxxas 8511 is the clear, paint-it-yourself body for the Unlimited Desert Racer. It arrives already trimmed with the decal sheet included, so the prep work is done and you go straight to painting.
The UDR body is precision-modeled after a full-scale unlimited desert race truck, and its open window design is a defining feature — it showcases the tube frame chassis and detailed interior cockpit underneath instead of hiding them. That makes the paint scheme you choose especially visible against the exposed chassis structure.
Painting the inside of the polycarbonate keeps your finish protected from the rock strikes and brush that come with desert-style running. This is the body to reach for when you want a custom livery, a replica of a specific real trophy truck, or a sponsor scheme of your own rather than one of the factory editions. Package includes one trimmed clear body and decal sheet.

If your order does not reach the $75 threshold for free shipping, we offer Flat Rate $3.99 Shipping.

Basic Economy Free Shipping is not available to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and international. Customers in these locations will be charged the actual computed shipping rate at the time of checkout.
