Description
The Traxxas 8393 is a set of decal sheets for the 8391 clear Cadillac CTS-V body for the 4-Tec 2.0 chassis.
Clear bodies arrive unpainted and undecorated, so these decals are what turn a finished paint job into a recognisable CTS-V. Badges, grille detail, and trim markings are what make a scale replica read as the actual car, and a painted shell without them always looks like something is missing.
Decals are also a genuine consumable. They lift at the edges over time, tear during contact, and get scraped off on the panels that meet the ground. A replacement sheet costs a fraction of a new body and brings a car that runs perfectly well back to looking the part.
These are pre-cut factory sheets, so no trimming is required. That matters when applying them over a shell you have just painted, since hand-cutting vinyl on a finished surface is the fastest way to ruin an evening's work.
Fitment is specific to the 8391 clear CTS-V body. Note that if you want the pre-painted version instead, Traxxas lists it under 8391X with decals already applied, so these sheets are only needed for the clear shell.
