Traxxas captures the cutting-edge style of the Cadillac CTS-V with this highly detailed replica body. The 8391X comes fully assembled with injection-molded parts, pre-painted, trimmed, and ready to mount on the 4-Tec 2.0 chassis with pre-drilled body holes and applied decals.
This is the finished option. No painting, no masking, no decal placement, no trimming, and no drilling. It comes out of the box ready to mount, which is the difference between running the car this afternoon and spending an evening at the bench with an airbrush.
A factory finish is also difficult to match at home. Pre-painted shells are sprayed and cured under controlled conditions with decals positioned precisely, and combined with the injection-molded detail parts the result reads as a genuine scale replica rather than a painted lexan shell.
The CTS-V is a licensed Cadillac replica, so the proportions and detailing are faithful to the real car rather than a generic sedan shape. On a 4-Tec 2.0 built for on-road running, that authenticity is much of the appeal.
Pre-drilled body holes mean the mounting positions are already correct for the 4-Tec 2.0 chassis, so there is no measuring or guessing at post locations.
