Description
The Traxxas 8387 is a set of decal sheets for the 8386 4-Tec 2.0 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 clear body.
Clear bodies ship unpainted and undecorated, so the decals are what turn a painted shell into a recognisable Corvette. Badges, marker details, and trim elements are what the eye reads as authenticity on a scale replica, and a shell without them looks unfinished no matter how good the paintwork underneath is.
Decals are also a consumable. They lift at the edges after repeated running and cleaning, tear during contact, and get scraped away entirely on panels that touch the ground. Replacing a sheet costs a fraction of replacing a body and restores a car that still runs perfectly to presentable condition.
These are pre-cut factory sheets, so there is no knife work required on a finished paint job. That matters: hand-cutting vinyl over a shell you have just spent an evening painting is exactly how good work gets ruined.
Fitment is specific to the 8386 Corvette Z06 clear body. Note that Traxxas produces separate decal sheets for each body in the 4-Tec range, and they are not interchangeable between cars.
