Description
The Traxxas 8352X-GRAY is a set of left and right aluminum stub axle carriers that boost the appearance and strength of the 4-Tec. Billet 6061-T6 aluminum construction adds strength and precision with a brilliantly anodized finish. Includes 3x12 mm screws (2) and 2.5x6 mm screws (2).
Stub axle carriers hold the rear wheel assemblies and locate them relative to the suspension arms. They house the bearings the axles ride on, which means their rigidity determines whether the rear wheels stay properly aligned under load. A composite carrier flexes as cornering forces build, and that deflection changes rear geometry at exactly the moment the car needs it to stay put.
Machined aluminum eliminates that movement. The carriers hold their shape, so rear alignment stays where it was set rather than shifting through a corner. On a 4-Tec running at speed or a Drift chassis working at the limit of traction, consistent rear geometry is what makes the car predictable.
Billet machining also produces tighter bearing seats than moulded parts achieve. Bearings that sit properly last longer and spin more freely, and the axles stay concentric rather than developing play over time.
Supplied as a left and right pair with mounting screws included. Genuine Traxxas hop-up part.
