The Traxxas 8321-ORNG takes the 4-Tec 2.0 or 4-Tec Drift to the next level with an aluminum front chassis brace. Billet 6061-T6 aluminum construction adds strength and precision with a brilliantly anodized finish.
Traxxas lists it as improving appearance, strength, and precision, milled from a solid block of high-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, with a brilliant anodized finish and premium quality construction with factory fit and finish.
The chassis brace ties the front end together and resists the twisting forces that build under cornering and impact. Its function is to hold the front bulkhead and suspension mounts in their designed relationship. A composite brace flexes as those loads build, and any movement there translates into suspension geometry that shifts mid-corner rather than staying where it was set.
Aluminum removes that flex. The front end behaves as a rigid structure, so the car responds consistently rather than feeling slightly different depending on how hard it is being driven. On a low-slung on-road chassis, where small geometry changes are felt immediately, that consistency is worth having.
Milling from solid stock also delivers tighter tolerances at the mounting points than moulded parts achieve. Fits both the 4-Tec 2.0 and 4-Tec Drift. Genuine Traxxas hop-up part.
