This is the upgrade version of the standard anodized body. The hard-anodized surface resists scoring far better than a standard finish, and the PTFE coating cuts friction between the body wall and the piston, which keeps damping smooth and consistent over a longer service life. Worth it on an 8S truck where the shocks take sustained high-speed abuse.
Fits: Traxxas XRT (78086-4) and XRT Ultimate (78097-4).
Direct replacement for the factory shock body, so it reuses your existing shafts, caps, springs, and internals.
