Traxxas offers the medium GTX spring in ten rates so you can tune XRT suspension performance or compensate for a lighter or heavier vehicle setup. The higher the rate number, the firmer the spring. At 3.45 this sits just below the middle of the XRT range, slightly softer than the 3.744.
A softer spring increases chassis roll and mechanical traction and is more forgiving over bumps. A stiffer spring reduces roll and increases steering response at the cost of some traction.
Fits: Traxxas XRT (78086-4) and XRT Ultimate (78097-4).
Direct replacement for the factory spring and fits the stock GTX shocks with no modification.
