Traxxas offers the medium GTX spring in ten rates so you can tune XRT suspension performance or compensate for a lighter or heavier vehicle setup. The higher the rate number, the firmer the spring. At 3.744 this sits near the middle of the XRT range, a sensible starting point if you are unsure which direction to tune.
A softer spring increases chassis roll and mechanical traction and is more forgiving over bumps. A stiffer spring reduces roll and increases steering response at the cost of some traction.
Fits: Traxxas XRT (78086-4) and XRT Ultimate (78097-4).
Direct replacement for the factory spring and fits the stock GTX shocks with no modification.
