Huge Maxx AT 8.0" x 4.0" tires offer ferocious grip with an aggressive tread pattern. Tires are sold as a left and right pair with foam inserts included.
These are the unmounted tires only, which is the right choice if you already have wheels you want to keep — whether that's a set of anodized aluminum wheels, a color you've matched to your body, or simply wheels that are still in good shape after the rubber has worn out. Buying tires separately is meaningfully cheaper than replacing complete pre-mounted assemblies each time, though it does mean you'll need to glue them yourself.
The Maxx AT tread is a genuine all-terrain pattern: large, widely-spaced lugs that clear dirt and grass instead of packing up, with enough shoulder block to hold a line through corners. It's the tire the X-Maxx ships with for good reason — it does most things well rather than specializing in one surface.
