Description
The Traxxas 7475 is a pair of 0.70-rate shock springs for 1/10 scale short GTR shocks. They use high-quality spring steel with a durable powder-coated finish, which keeps the rate consistent and resists corrosion across repeated compression cycles and wet running.
GTR springs come in a range of rates so you can tune suspension performance or compensate for lighter or heavier vehicle configurations. The higher the rate, the stiffer the spring. At 0.70 this sits in the middle of the three rates in this group, making it the sensible baseline: firm enough to control weight transfer and resist bottoming on jump landings, but not so stiff that the chassis loses compliance over rough ground.
If you are unsure where to start when experimenting with spring rates, the middle rate is the one to run first and tune away from. Move softer for more grip on slick surfaces, stiffer for heavier setups or big-air tracks.
