Description
Caps and spring retainers for GTR long and xx-long shocks, gray anodized finish. Includes two upper caps, four hollow balls, two bottom caps, two upper retainers and two lower retainers.
The caps seal the shock and hold the bladder that lets oil displace as the shaft moves; the retainers set spring preload and therefore ride height. Both are wear items — caps strip at the threads after enough rebuilds, and worn retainers let preload drift during a run so the corners end up mismatched.
Fits: Traxxas GTR long and xx-long shocks, as used on Stampede 4X4 and Hoss 4X4.
Enough hardware to service two shocks.
