GTR xx-long shock shafts with a titanium nitride coating. Two per package.
The TiN coating is what keeps a shock sealing over time. A bare steel shaft picks up microscopic scoring from grit dragged past the seal, and once scored it chews through x-rings and starts weeping oil — which is usually why a shock that was rebuilt recently still feels soft. TiN is far harder than the steel underneath and resists that damage.
Worth replacing shafts rather than just seals if the old ones show any scoring or a bend.
Fits: Traxxas GTR xx-long shocks, as used on Stampede 4X4 and Hoss 4X4.
Direct replacement for the factory shock shafts.
