Description
The Traxxas 7433 is a pair of adjustable steel toe links measuring 77 mm centre to centre, supplied assembled with rod ends and hollow balls.
Toe is one of the most effective handling adjustments available and one of the least used. Toe-in adds straight-line stability, which steadies the car at speed and keeps the rear predictable over rough ground. Toe-out sharpens turn-in and helps the car rotate, which suits tight, technical stages.
Being adjustable turnbuckles rather than fixed links means that setting can be changed between runs with a wrench, without removing or swapping parts. On a rally car running mixed surfaces within a single session, that flexibility is worth having.
Steel matters on a link that sits exposed and absorbs impact loads. Steel turnbuckles resist bending far better than lighter alternatives, so the toe setting stays where it was put rather than shifting after the first hard landing.
They come assembled with rod ends and hollow balls, so installation is fitting them rather than building them.
Note that Traxxas also lists fixed-length composite toe links at the same 77 mm centre-to-centre measurement under 7439 at a lower price. Those are the non-adjustable option if you do not need to tune toe.
