There is no need to trim it. Traxxas pre-painted bodies come ready to mount straight out of the bag, and this one arrives assembled with the wing and clipless latches already fitted. That is the whole appeal over a clear shell: no painting, no masking, no decal work, no trimming, and no hardware to source. It goes on the car and the car goes out.
The ProGraphix finish is difficult to match at home. These are sprayed and cured under controlled conditions with decals positioned precisely, giving a result that reads as a proper factory rally livery rather than a home paint job.
Polycarbonate is the right material for a rally body. It flexes rather than shattering on impact, which matters on a car being driven on loose surfaces where contact with kerbs, ruts, and scenery is routine.
The clipless latches are included and pre-installed, so nothing protrudes above the bodyline and there are no clips to lose on a stage.
