The Traxxas 7412 is the clear, unpainted Ford Fiesta ST Rally body. From mild to wild, Traxxas clear bodies are your own personal canvas: you choose the color and design, and Traxxas ProGraphix paint makes it easy to get professional quality results.
It comes fully trimmed and ready to paint, supplied with decals, the rear wing with mounting hardware, and pre-applied overspray film. That is a more complete package than the ProGraphix version, which needs latches and a cross brace bought separately.
The preparation work is already done. The shell arrives trimmed so there is no cutting before painting, and the overspray film protects the outer surface while you spray. ProGraphix paint is formulated for polycarbonate and applied to the inside of the shell, giving a deep gloss that the body itself protects from scratching.
Rally liveries are one of the most rewarding things to paint in RC. Sponsor schemes, competition numbers, and bold color splits all suit the Fiesta shape, and starting from clear means the design is entirely yours rather than whatever Traxxas chose.
Polycarbonate flexes rather than shattering on impact, which is what a rally body needs on loose surfaces.
