Description
The Traxxas 6994 is a left and right pair of side skirts for the Slash body. Side skirts run along the lower edge of the shell, the area that takes constant contact from ruts, berms, kerbs, and debris thrown up by the tyres. That lower edge is one of the first places a short course body starts to wear and split, because it sits closest to the ground and catches everything the truck drives past.
Fitting skirts puts a sacrificial layer between the body and all of that. They wear down over time, which is precisely their function, and replacing a set costs a fraction of replacing the shell they protect.
Supplied as a left and right pair, so both sides of the truck are covered in a single part. This is a genuine Traxxas component and a direct fit for the Slash body it is listed against.
A practical addition to a newly painted body, and a straightforward replacement once an existing set has worn through. Worth stocking alongside the roof and tailgate skid pads, since customers protecting one area of the body typically want the rest covered as well.
