Description
The Traxxas 6981 is a set of sheets of pre-cut adhesive Slash decals. Every clear and ProGraphix body needs its markings, and these are the factory sheets that give a freshly painted shell the finished, authentic Slash look rather than a bare coat of color.
Because the decals arrive pre-cut, there is no trimming or knife work required. Peel each one off the backing and apply it. That matters on a body you have just spent time painting, since hand-cutting vinyl over a finished shell is exactly where a good paint job gets ruined.
Decals are a consumable. They lift at the edges after repeated running, tear during a roll, and get scraped off entirely on the panels that contact the ground. Replacing a sheet is far cheaper than replacing a body, and it brings a truck that still runs fine back to looking presentable.
This is also the natural companion to a clear or ProGraphix body build. Traxxas supplies these as decal sheets for the Slash. A sensible item to stock alongside bodies, paint, and body hardware, since anyone buying one of those is likely to need these too. Genuine Traxxas part.
