Description
The Traxxas 6967 is a set of clipless body mount latches, front and rear, for the Traxxas clipless body mounting system.
These are the latches that attach to the body itself. They are required when fitting a clear or unfinished body such as the 6965 Slash 4X4 clear body, which ships without latch hardware. Pre-painted bodies in the current range arrive with latches already installed, so this part is specifically for painters building up a shell from clear.
The clipless system replaces traditional body posts and clips: the body snaps on and off in seconds, there are no clips to lose in the grass, and the body sits clean with nothing poking through it.
Note that latches alone are not the complete picture. The body also needs the corresponding latch mounts on the chassis — part 6966 — unless your truck already has them fitted.
