Description
The Traxxas 6958R is a heavy-duty clear clipless body for the Slash 4X4. It is made from thicker polycarbonate than standard bodies for increased durability, which is the single most useful upgrade you can make to a shell that keeps cracking. If you are replacing bodies more often than you would like, this is the answer rather than another standard-thickness shell.
As a clear body it doubles as your own personal canvas: you choose the color and design, and Traxxas ProGraphix paint makes it easy to get professional quality results. The heavy-duty shell comes fully trimmed and ready to paint, supplied with decal sheets, window masking, and pre-applied overspray film, so the preparation is handled before it reaches you.
It includes clipless body latches, body reinforcements, and hardware. The clipless mounting system removes body clips and tall body posts entirely, which means nothing to lose at the track and nothing protruding to snag or tear the shell during a roll. The reinforcements spread latching loads across a wider area of polycarbonate rather than concentrating stress at the mounting holes, so the body resists tear-through where it normally fails first.
