The Traxxas 6958 is a clear, unpainted clipless body for the Slash. Traxxas clear bodies are your own personal canvas: you choose the color and the design, and Traxxas ProGraphix paint makes it easy to get professional quality results without specialist equipment or experience.
The body arrives fully trimmed, so there is no cutting required before it goes on the truck. It ships ready to paint with decal sheets, window masking, and pre-applied overspray film, which means the prep work that usually eats up an afternoon is already done. Mask, spray the inside, peel the film, apply the decals, and it is finished.
Because this is a clipless body, it includes the clipless body latches, body reinforcements, and hardware needed to mount it. The clipless system does away with body clips and tall body posts, so there are no clips to lose at the track and nothing sticking up to snag or tear the shell in a roll. The reinforcements spread latching loads across the polycarbonate rather than concentrating them at the mounting holes.
