Description
The Traxxas 6949 is a Fox Edition replacement body for the Slash 4X4, which also fits the Slash VXL and Slash 2WD. It arrives painted with decals applied and assembled with front and rear latches for clipless mounting.
The Fox Edition carries the livery of Fox Racing Shox, the suspension brand whose orange and blue scheme is instantly recognisable to anyone who follows off-road racing. It is one of the more distinctive factory finishes Traxxas offers.
Clipless mounting is the practical draw. The latches are already fitted, so the body clicks on and off without body clips — no more clips pinging into the grass mid-session, and no torn post holes after a hard landing. If your truck is an older clip-mount chassis, it needs the conversion parts first: #6940 body mounts for the 2WD, or #6976 plus #10125 for the 4X4.
The shell is polycarbonate, painted and decalled at the factory, so no preparation is needed before fitting.
