Description
The Traxxas 6872 is a pair of SCT Split-Spoke satin chrome wheels with a black beadlock-style ring, supplied as wheels only without tires or foam inserts.
Order these when your rubber still has usable tread but a rim has been damaged. A crack in the rim face or a chipped bead flange lets a glued tire creep under cornering load and eventually peel away, and no amount of fresh glue rescues a wheel that has lost its bead edge. Replacing the rim and re-gluing sound rubber is usually far cheaper than a complete assembled set.
The Split-Spoke face uses paired spokes rather than the solid dish of the basic SCT wheel, giving the truck a more detailed look while keeping identical mounting geometry — the two are functionally interchangeable.
Sizing follows the short course dual-profile standard, 2.2 inches at the outer bead and 3.0 inches inside, which does not interchange with standard 2.2 or 3.0 inch wheels. The beadlock ring is molded into the rim face as styling, so no separate hardware is required. Fitment is 4WD front and rear, or 2WD rear only.
Fits: Traxxas Slash 4X4 front/rear, Slash 2WD and Slash VXL rear.
