Description
Foam body bumpers for the Traxxas XO-1, front and rear included.
These sit between the body and the chassis and absorb impact energy before it reaches the shell. On a car built to run at very high speed, that cushioning is what stops a hard nose-in from cracking an expensive painted body, and the foam also stops the body chattering against the chassis at speed.
Foam compresses and tears over time, so bumpers that have taken a few hits no longer protect as intended even if they look serviceable.
