The wing generates the rear downforce that keeps the XO-1 planted as speeds climb. On a 1/7 scale car capable of triple-digit runs, a cracked or missing wing is not a cosmetic problem — it directly affects rear grip and high-speed stability, and it is one of the first things to break in a tumble.
This listing covers the wing element by itself. If you also need the mounts and washers, Traxxas supplies those together under part 6414X.
