The Traxxas 5999X is the official printed owners manual for the Slayer Pro 4X4 1/10-scale nitro short course truck. It is the same manual supplied with the vehicle from the factory.
A nitro truck is far less forgiving than an electric one, and the manual is the reference that keeps it running properly. It covers break-in procedure for the TRX 3.3 racing engine, carburetor tuning and needle settings, the EZ-Start system, two-speed transmission adjustment, slipper clutch setup, and the routine maintenance intervals that determine how long the engine lasts.
It also carries the exploded views and assembly diagrams for the chassis, front and rear suspension, driveshafts, transmission and engine, with part numbers called out for each component. That makes it genuinely useful at the bench when ordering replacement parts or reassembling after a rebuild.
This is the practical replacement for a manual that has been lost, soaked in fuel, or never came with a secondhand truck. Buyers picking up a used Slayer Pro 4X4 without paperwork are the most common customers for it.
