Description
The Traxxas 5886A is a pair of SCT Split-Spoke black wheels with a blue beadlock-style ring for the 2WD front position, supplied as wheels only without tires or foam inserts.
This is the same wheel as the 5886 apart from the beadlock ring finish, so match by part number when replacing one side of an existing set. The rear and 4X4 equivalent in this blue finish is 5884A.
Check the fitment before ordering: on a 2WD Slash the front wheels are narrower than the rears, since the front axle carries no drive load and the narrower track improves steering feel.
Order these when your front tires still have life left but a rim has cracked, chipped at the bead flange, or been gouged badly enough that it will no longer hold glue. Replacing the wheel and reusing good rubber is usually a fraction of the cost of a complete assembled set.
The Split-Spoke face uses paired spokes rather than a solid dish. Sizing follows the short course dual-profile standard, 2.2 inches at the outer bead and 3.0 inches inside; the beadlock ring is molded styling.
