Description
The Traxxas 5883-BLK is a pair of replica BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tires, pre-glued and mounted with foam inserts onto Split-Spoke SCT wheels.
The Split-Spoke wheel is the distinguishing feature here. It is a different rim design from the beadlock-style SCT wheels Traxxas offers at a similar price, so this is the set to choose if you want the split-spoke look rather than the beadlock trim appearance. Tread pattern and construction are otherwise comparable.
They come pre-glued with foam inserts already fitted. Gluing tires by hand is tedious and unforgiving work, and a weak joint eventually lets the tire peel off the rim under cornering load. Buying them mounted removes that job entirely and gets a truck rolling straight away.
The Mud-Terrain KM2 pattern is a licensed BFGoodrich replica, so the tread carries genuine scale detail instead of a generic block design, and the open aggressive lugs deliver real grip on dirt, grass, and mud.
Fitment: 12 mm hex, suitable for 4WD front or rear, and 2WD rear only. A 2WD truck will need the matching front pair ordered separately.
